This year's StaplerCup Finals will feature the Continental CS20 model, which was specially developed for forklift trucks and already proved its worth at the StaplerCup in 2019. About the StaplerCup
The StaplerCup Forklift World Championship is the official world championship in forklift driving and thus the world's most important forklift sport event. The event consists of national and international Forklift World Championship Qualifiers and the StaplerCup Finals, which are traditionally held at the end of October in Aschaffenburg (Germany).
The StaplerCup was first launched in 2005 as a purely German championship - since then, almost 45,000 entries have been received for the competition, which is all about precision, speed and overview on the forklift truck.
The event was expanded in 2008 to include a company team championship - today's Corporate Cup - and a separate competition for women in 2015. With the evolution to the Forklift World Championship in 2024, the world's greatest forklift talents will compete in the “Men's World Championship”, “Women's World Championship”, “Team World Championship” and the Corporate Cup. At the Charity Cup, celebrities also get into the forklift for a good cause.
The event, which has been held in the LINDE MH ARENA in Aschaffenburg since 2021, attracts thousands of spectators every year. In addition to several days of forklift action, the StaplerCup Finals are also known for a brilliant closing concert, at which musical greats such as Michael Patrick Kelly, Michael Schulte, Culcha Candela and Vanessa Mai have performed.
The StaplerCup has already won numerous awards in the communications and business sector, including the PR Award in Gold, the International German PR Award and the international title of “Best European Sporting Event” from EuBEA. In 2013, the StaplerCup received Gold and the highest award “Best of Show” at the renowned American GALAXY Awards.
